Casa Erizo is fully furnished holiday accommodation, or B+B, with a private pool, and is a perfect base for people who just want to "chill", romantics, walkers, birdwatchers or artists, due to its quiet mountainous location.
It is an old lovingly restored cortijo with 360-degree stunning views of the spectacular Sierra de las Estancias mountains and an elevated view of the Rambla de Oria valley, nestled under Piedra de Aguila (Eagle Rock with real eagles!) and excellent for relaxing away from the crowds.
The whitewashed casa has a sitting room, dining kitchen and en suite bedroom leading to the sunbathing terrace, pool and pergola, and is set amongst olive and almond groves
The casa has a log fire and radiators for cool evenings in spring.
There is an internet connection for a laptop.

Newly fitted for this spring season there is a log fire and radiators. A gas heater and an electric blanket on the double bed are also available should they be needed.
Sun terrace has sunloungers, and under the shady pergola there is a garden table and chairs for alfresco dining.
The pool depth is 1m at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end. It is shared with the owners.
This is no-smoking accommodation, although smokers can smoke outside on the terrace.
This a staffed property.

| About the Area: |
Oria village dates from the time of the Moors and has the remains of a castle. It is a farming area famous for hams and cold meats, almonds and olives. Albox is the nearest town, 30 minutes away, which has a thriving market on Tuesday mornings selling foods, clothes and local crafts. Tapas and Menu del Dia is available locally.
Perfect location for: relaxation, cycling, walking, birdwatchers, artists and sightseeing in real Spain, Almeria having 320 days of sunshine a year.

Flights can be arranged through flymonarch, ryanair, easyjet, avro, jet2, bmibaby or thomsonfly.com from most British airports to Almeria, Murcia (San Javier), or Granada airports which are about 1.5 hours drive away.
If you fly to Granada, you can incorporate a visit to the Alhambra Palace on the way.
We can arrange airport or train station pickups and cycle carriage for people who want to bring their own bikes.
