Located in the heart of the High Minho, Casas de Alem are a secret that promise to stay in the memory of all that have the possibility of visiting and stay here. With sensational views and furnished with immense style and flair, these properties are the perfect location for total relaxation any time of the year.
Breathtaking scenery, enchanting villages, art and history can all be found within easy reach. With panoramic views of the Lindoso dam and lake and beyond to the beautiful Peneda-Geres National Park; an area of spectacular and rugged beauty. Coupled with beauty and tradition, there are also many new local and modern activities on offer such as golf at Ponte de Lima, watersports and mountain biking, or why not combine old and new with an archaeological trek in the National Park, arranged with the owner.
Further afield, the nearby towns of Ponte de Lima and Arcos de Valdevez offer attractive architecture and a refined ambience. These two houses, cleverly constructed using only Criptomaeria wood and glass, sit within the tiny hamlet of Gração. One is above the other, through positioning, good privacy is assured. On the terrace below there is a shared pool where one can swim and then relax admiring the view. The owners live on a further terrace below and will be at hand to assist should this be necessary. Inside, you will find spacious areas, appealing textures and colours, a cleverly hidden kitchenette and, a must for those warm evenings; a terrace with a superb view.
