The spacious lounge/dining room has two leather settees (one of which opens into a comfortable double bed), coffee table, lamp tables, dining table and chairs, sideboard, satellite flat screen TV (English Sky channels and 4 Portuguese channels), DVD, CD/radio, with a wide selection of DVDs and CDs for guests' enjoyment. Large french doors open out onto balcony with sea views. Air conditioning/heating.

Changeover day is flexible in order that guests can take advantage of low cost mid week flights.
All bedding and towels are provided (except beach/pool towels). The apartment is cleaned and linen changed weekly. If mid week cleans/changes are required these can be arranged for an extra charge.
25% deposit payable on booking - balance payable 6 weeks before arrival. Provisional bookings held for 7 days pending receipt of written confirmation and deposit.

The apartment is a 40 minute drive away from Faro airport. Car hire is not essential as low cost transfers are readily available. However we would highly recommend hiring a car to take advantage of all the attractions of the Algarve, for which the apartment is centrally located. |

The apartment is in an enviable corner position in the small development and with two furnished balconies with sea and countryside views and all day sun. The development has three swimming pools (one a childrens pool) and tennis courts, all exclusively for the use of guests. |
| About the Area: |
Porches, famous for its terracotta pottery, is a wonderful Portuguese village with arguably two of the best Blue Flag beaches on the Algarve, which are often frequented by the rich and famous. Close by is a fantastic luxury hotel, which offers five-star facilities including a spa and beauty treatments. There are a wide choice of restaurants and bars both at the beach and within the village.
4 minutes walk from the apartment are arguably two of the most attractive beaches in the Algarve - Praia Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova, which are accessible one from the other via a tunnel through the rock, on which stands the picturesque Chapel Nossa Senhora da Rocha.
The apartment is located right in the centre of the Algarve coast. Situated in a quiet village location but 3 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from livelier Armacao de Pera and 15 minutes drive from the resorts of Albufeira, Portimao, Alvor and Carvoeiro. 15 minutes drive from "Algarve Shopping". |

Entertainment

Porches village is quiet but has numerous excellent restaurants. For more lively entertainment and bars etc Armacao de Pera is a 20 minute walk or a few minutes drive away. Lively Albufeira, Portimao, Carveiro and Alvor are also within 15 minutes by car/taxi. Algarve Shopping, a large mall with stores, designer fashion boutiques, a hypermarket and food hall, multi-screen cinema, restaurants and bowling alley are 15 minutes drive away.

Activities

The Algarve is well known for its multitude of first class golf courses. The apartment is ideally situated in the centre of them all! The area is also ideal for walkers with cliff top paths that go on for mile after mile, with access to pretty, secluded beaches and with fantastic views of the unusual rock formations. The apartment is also just a few hundred yards from the Algarve Coastal Cycle Path, which runs the full length of the Algarve from the Spanish Border to Cape St Vincent, the most south westerly point of Europe.

There are several water parks close by - Slide & Splash, Aqualand, Aquashow and Zoomarine, to name but a few!
The apartment is also ideally situated to visit the picturesque historic towns of Silves (8 km away), Monchique (20 km away) and Lagos (45 km away).
