The smallest of four accommodations available at the Quintassential, this is the most charismatic with its own private garden area from where you will be able to experience some of the finest sunsets the Algarve has to offer.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage is a 1 bedroom rustic duplex cottage tastefully decorated & boasting many original features from the old Quinta. This cottage has oodles of character. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers & sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams & white washed walls. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area, WC & washbasin with a vanity unit under. The crows nest lounge area has spectacular views & has a radio/CD player with MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs), puzzles, chess set, domino set & playing cards. It is furnished with comfortable cane seats, terracotta flooring & also has the original cane ceiling with wooden beams. The walls are also white washed.

The rustic kitchen/dining area has the original bread oven dating back to the 19th century & stone sink from the Quinta. The kitchen comprises of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, mini electric oven, electric kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine, hand held blender & 4 ring gas hob. The kitchen/dining area also has the cane ceiling with wooden beams & has the typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls. From the dining area there are doors leading on to a completely private terrace with brick built Bar-B-Q, table & chairs & reclining chairs. There is also a wood burning stove for the cooler winter evenings making the cottage very cosy.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage sleeps a maximum of 2 adults only.

Outside The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil & relaxing holiday. The gardens at Quintassential are simply marvellous, seeing is believing, with many bushes, plants & fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax & absorb the views.

The Quintassential has a large pool area, measuring 10 x 5 m with cushioned sun loungers, parasols etc provided for the use of the guests. There is also located on the pool terrace a hot tub spa Jacuzzi for guest use. The pool is heated during the cooler months from 1st October until 30th April & there is no additional charge for heating the pool.

There is also a children’s play area with swings, slide, see-saw all amidst an orange grove. For those who have a little more energy, there is an outdoor games area with a professional size table tennis table available for guest use along with table football and an exercise bike.

Extras
On arrival the owners will meet you & awaiting your arrival will be a very generous welcome hamper in your accommodation compliments of the house for guests staying a week or more. For all the adult guests, bathrobes are provided for use during their stay & pool towels

Prices from 1st October until 30th April include pool heating. For guests wishing to have the pool heated outside of these dates, please enquire regarding weekly rate.

Prices from 1st November until 31st March include heating, one oil filled radiator, one eco wall heater and a wood burning stove that keeps the whole of the cottage very cosy. Logs can be purchased at the Quintassential or at local supermarkets.

To secure a booking a non-refundable 30% deposit is required and the balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival. Payments can be made by bank transfer into a UK bank account or by credit card via Paypal. Payments now also accepted in Euros by bank transfer into a Portuguese Euro Account - please ask for further information regarding Euro tariffs. A returnable damages deposit of £150.00 GBP is also payable six weeks prior to arrival.

All Inclusive Winter Special Offer - Valid from 1st November until 31st March 2011.

One weeks accommodation for two, heating, basket of logs for wood burning stove, pool heating, welcome hamper and a Group B hire car - £370.00 GBP per week. Flexible Arrival Day.
