'Fast-cat' ferries take just 30 minutes to bustling Viaduct Harbour and a further 10-minute stroll past fantastic, international shopping to Sky Tower.

Passenger ferries run approximately every hour from downtown Auckland to Waiheke Island. Buses meet every ferry; low-cost island car hire is also available at the ferry terminal. Cycles, scooters, tours and water-borne activities are also booked here. The ferry crossing, on comfortable catamarans with cafes, takes 30 mins. Car ferries from Half Moon Bay sail hourly. Auckland International Airport is 30 mins from the ferry terminal, depending on traffic. Taxi ranks are found outside both termini.

Oneroa is the main town on Waiheke with all amenities such as banks, restaurants, small cinema, arts centre, boutiques and other services including post office, churches, estate agents, chemists, legal and medical services. This is a 15-minute drive from the villa or 25 mins by bus.
