Our house is placed on the triangle among Florence, Siena and Arezzo, we are in Chianti. The location is really excellent since is central and close to all the major art cities of Tuscany and Umbria.

Ground floor apartment with entrance directly into a nice sitting/dining room with double sofa bed, table and chairs, on the left three steps lead into a separate fitted kitchen. A door leads from the sitting room into a matrimonial bedroom giving onto a small room with a single bed and onto the bathroom with shower. Private terrace on the garden on the side of the apartment.

The apartment is on the first floor of the main building, with access from an outside stair and small loggia. The entrance is directly into the sitting/dining room with fitted kitchen, on a side there is a nice comfortable leather sofa and a reading lamp. Supermarket, bank, pharmacy ,food stores, grocery, and a nice restaurant are in laterina only 2.5 km from the house. More stores and a supermarket are in Levane, Ipermarkets and every kind of stores are in Montevarchi and Arezzo.

Where we are.
Upper Valdarno
The first part of the valley where the Arno river flows it’s called Upper Valdarno., a long Valley closed at East by the Mountains of Pratomagno and bordered at west by the Chianti hills.
Upper Aretine Valdarno has been inhabited since prehistoric time, experienced an important development during the Middles ages when a series of Castles and Fortresses were built , from which the villages located along the Valley grew up .The majority of the municipalities in the area have medieval origins and their ancient splendor can still be seen .
This area is also characterized by a natural phenomenon: Le Balze, small , craggy hills formed during the centuries by the erosion of the land along the slopes of Pratomagno.The same ones that have been made immortal by Leonardo da Vinci.Here you will find culture, good cooking, and you will have the chance to discover many untouched places.

Ponte Buriano and Penna - Valle dell'Inferno and Bandella ( just 10 minutes from the houses)
Along the Corse of the Arno river , close to Laterina there are these two beautiful natural oasis.Here you can follow footpaths through woodland, over hills and along the rocky of the valley and discover a still uncontaminated world.

Antiquity Fair Arezzo-On the weekend of the first Sunday of every month, in the heart of the medieval town: over 10,000 square metres of antiques, collectables, jewels, valuables and crafts .Free admission.
The Saracino Tournament( La Giostra del Sarcino)
The Fair of Saracino is a knightly game Saracin tournament that the evolution of an exercise of military training sinks its roots in the Middle Age. It's a simulation of the war crash, saw a nozzle knight armed to face an independent one like to the enemy the Christian West: the Arab, the unfaithfull, the Saracino exactly.
The games with the lances (hastiludia), unwound in the city to celebrate the happy result of a diplomatic mission in earth of France, he is spoken instead to two letters addressed avignonese to the curia in November 1331 from the Worm-holed ones, gentlemen of Arezzo.
