This house is excellent for families or a get together. Private house, a fence around the property including a private swimming pool. The house is fully furnished and includes TV, video, satellite, DVD and internet. Child friendly house and includes a ping pong table and badminton. The house has a fireplace for the winter and is cool in summer. There is a downstairs bedroom which is very suitable for the elderly who have trouble going up stairs. Tha house is Child friendly and child items for rent per stay.

The house has a fireplace for the winter and is cool in summer. There is a downstairs bedroom which is very suitable for the elderly who have trouble going up stairs. The satellite has cartoon network and English, German, Dutch and French programs. There is a separate shower and toilet near the pool. The pool is fenced off so safe for children. Items such as baby bed, play pen and high chair can be rented for the duration of your stay. There is a washing machine available. It is a quiet area and the house has beautiful views over the vineyards. A car is necessary as you are located on a hill. Plenty of food shops all within a short drive. Garden furniture is present and there is shade as it can get quite warm.

Towel radiator in all bathrooms, 1 hairdryer in the house. There are 2 fridges, 2 freezers, 2 ovens in the house, 5 ring stove, microwave and dishwasher, washing machine is located next to the shower room in the garage. There are 2 central heating systems, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

One bedroom with queen size double bed is located on the ground floor and the shower room is in the hall therefore suitable for elderly.

There are two steps in the house but large enough for a wheelchair to pass through and not too high. A ramp can be provided should one be required. There are some games in the house which can be used but must be returned in tact. Trivial pursuit, chess, checkers, backgammon, poker and yahtzee. DVD and videos also possible to watch. There is a ping pong table which is located in the garage and can be used. There is a fridge which can be used for drinks by the pool, only plastic glasses, bowl and plates can be used by the pool so that there can never be broken glass. The plastic plates, cups are in the kitchen. There is a large table outside where you can eat and watch the pool. The barbeque can be used but must be cleaned prior to leaving. There is a washing line to dry your laundry and swimming towels (these are not provided and must be brought along by yourself).

Rental various according to amount of people staying and the season therefore send me an email and I will confirm the rental per week for the whole property. Prices are min 150 - max 275 pppw.
Deposit is required for advance booking and to confirm your stay. Start and end days can be discussed / flexible depending on the season. The full rental amount must be cleared into the bank account 10 weeks prior to start date of the rental period. The deposit is returned after final cleaning and the check out inspection. Check out must be at 10.00 and arrival time is at 16.00 on date of arrival. This time is required to clean and change all the beds etc. prior to the new guests arriving.
Please note there is a cleaning cost which should be approx. 160 euro to include laundering of linen. This will be checked prior to returning the deposit fee to your account
Childerens items are available for families, 2 cots, playpen, 3 high chairs as well as a fold out bed

A car is necessary as you are located on a hill. Plenty of food shops all within a short drive.

It is a walk down the hill to the village or a short drive. Santa Stefano Belbo (6km) is down the hill and is a bigger town, it has a few restaurants, bars, banks, shops, supermarkets, market (Wednesdays) or Canelli (8km) is even larger and has a large shopping centre CASTELLO and opposite is the LIDL, shops, bars, restaurants (including Chinese), pharmacies, banks etc. Castiglione Tinella is based in Langhe, the wine region, the most famous wines from here are Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and Muscat wine. Piedmont is also known for their truffles.

The house is situated in the middle of the Italian wine region Langhe, Barolo, Barbera, Barbaresco etc...so enough wines to be tasted. The region has not been spoiled by tourists so if you want to be in a place where the menu's are not in English but still in Italian, come and discover Piedmont.

Golf, mountain biking, walking, wine, horse riding
The area is has quite a few golf courses, the oldest 36 hole golf course is located near Asti, approx. 40 min drive. If interested in Golf I can provide you with some links to all the golf courses in the area. The area is very suitable for walking, a lot of hills though! The whole area is wonderful to discover, not too many tourists and definitely no menus in English!! Piedmont is also famous for their wines therefore many cellars/stores dotted around the area. The hilly landscape, the cuisine, rendered varied by the range of culture and small farm holdings, and an enormous monumental heritage are things that entice one back again and again to this area. Each season here is extraordinary, starting from spring with its triumphant burst of colour offered by the vineyard dotted hillsides. Summer is mitigated by a breezy climate and preludes the glory of the harvest of a very tasty aromatic grape. Autumn heralds the appearance of the superb white truffle.

Swimming pool
The private swimming pool has a fence all the way around it and therefore safe for children and also you can shut the gate to keep the children away from the pool if needed. There are 8 swimming towels available. The swimming pool has an area of shade for those needing this. There are 8 sun beds and in the kitchen there is a drawer full of plastic cups, plates and bowls to be used by the pool. There is a shower, toilet room next to the swimming pool.
