Ballycommon House self-catering apartments are geographically sitiuated in the centre of Ireland on the banks of the Grand Canal 6 miles from Tullamore.
The accommodation consists of a renovated two storey building divided into four 2-bedroomed luxury apartments, each accommodating 4/6 people. A walled courtyard provides secure parking and privacy with a large timber decked barbeque area overlooking the courtyard. A Laundry room with washing, drying, ironing facilities are on site. Separate lockers for outdoor clothes (water-proofs) and boots are also available with outside water points on site.

The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer, a full cooker with oven, grill and hob. It also includes usual electric appliances such as kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, microwave, dish washer, radio and CD player.
Living area:
The living area has dining facilities for 6 people with television and DVD player. The long sofa converts easily into a double bed.
Bedroom:
Our beds have good quality orthopedic mattresses with leather head boards and storage underneath.
Bathroom:
Ballycommon house has fully tiled bathrooms with excellent shower facilities & electric shaving points.

We are ideally located on the canal bank with free coarse fishing and its abundance of healthy, wild and hard fighting fish which include: Roach, Bream, Tench, Hybrids, Perch, Rudd, Gudgeon Carp, and Eel. For the fresh water fishing enthusiasts there are many rivers and lakes in close proximity to Ballycommon house
Ballycommon house should be of special interest to keen fishermen. For the fishermen's convenience we also have a drying room and secure storage and bait fridges on site.
Guests interested in walking holidays can explore the spectacular Slieve Bloom mountains, the Grand Canal walkway, the Offaly way (27 km looped walkway) or visit Ballycommon Bog walk and Nature trail for a leisurely stroll.
Guests can experience the beauty, tranquillity of the Grand Canal way by cycling on its safe paths. Bicycles are available for hire at Ballycommon house.
Horse Riding holidays can also be arranged in conjunction with the state of the art equestrian centres in the locality. There is a small equestrian facility on site.
