The Burren. Lisdoonvarna is situated on the doorstep of the famous Burren region. The Burren is famed for its wild flowers, tucked away between the limestone pavements which cover a wide area of the Burren. Be sure to see the Poulnabrone portal tomb and the many stone forts dating from 500 BC. Discover the Burren yourself or avail of a guided walk.
