We have focused over 20 years of experience of staying in other people's villas to inform our design, and now offer you a villa constructed and equipped to the highest standards, suitable all year round for families and parties of all ages, and sleeping up to 6, plus an infant.

In its elevated position overlooking the traditional village of Gavalohori, the forest to its rear and views of the sea over Souda bay, this exquisite British owned property offers:

Air conditioning included to all living and sleeping areas.

Large fitted kitchen in birch wood with stainless steel appliances by Bosch & Siemens - dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, oven & combination microwave.

Extensive lounge with bespoke Italian made sofas, full central heating + log burning fire for warm winter evenings . Dining area with white leather chairs & solid dark wood table extending to seat 10.

Large master bedroom overlooking pool, king sized bed, fully fitted wardrobes & extensive views, french doors opening out onto sun terrace. Ensuite fully tiled shower room in stunning black & white, with large shower, toilet & wash handbasin.

Large second bedroom with bunks, single bed & fold away trundle, sleeping up to 4 + cot.

The unique wrap-around 4.5x8m pool, with additional kiddies section, hugs the buidling meaning you don't even have to step outside to go for a swim! With numerous outside umbrellas, sun-loungers, hammock, hard-wood chairs and tables there is plenty to keep you relaxing outside. There is also a large chess set for indoor or outdoor use, as well as 40" LCD TV with satellite feed and Playstation2 (and games), separate TV in the family bedroom with Playstation, Hi-Fi with CDs, DVD player with DVDs and lots of board and card games to keep you amused. There is also a well stocked library of travel and reference books as well as novels to read.

For those with limited mobility, all the living areas are on a single floor and all are wheelchair-accesible with wide doors throughout. Additional facilities such as grab-handes and raised toilet seats are also available, which, combiined with the level acess and wide level shower in the en-suite make the property particularly suitable for th elderly or infirm.

The property boasts a number of eco-friendly features, such as solar-heated domestic hot water, solar garden lighting and a solar-powered pool cleaning robot which will drasticaly reduce the amount of chemicals needed to keep the pool sparkling and clear and ensure a more pleasant swim for the whole family.

Plastic utensils are provided for pool-side use, and a travel cot can be arranged for use by an infant at a small extra charge to cover the linen use.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROXIMITY OF THE POOL TO THE PROPERTY REQURES CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.

Available for short or long-term lets througout the autumn, winter & spring (fully centally-heated, sir-conditioned and double-glazed) - contact us for details - as well as the summer season.

From May 2011 changeover day is Tuesday and the property is available on a weekly basis.

We are happy to discuss reducing rates for longer term stays (over 3 weeks) and by considering reducing the frequency of cleaning visits for off-season lets. Please email or call us to discuss.

NOTE: Prices listed are for the rental of the whole villa, grounds and pool for your exclusive use, per week for up to 2 persons. Additional cost of £50 per person per week above 2 pax to cover cleaning and utility use. All fuel and air-conditioning costs are included as is maid service inculding sheet and towel change twice a week. Travel to the villa is not included.

Crete can be reached by direct charter flights from May to October, and easily on scheduled flights via Athens all year round. The journey time is around 4 hours from the UK.

*EasyJet fly to Athens from Luton and all the major charter companies fly direct to Chania (in the summer season) which is less than an hours drive away.
*Olympic fly to Athens daily from Gatwick & Heathrow, with only a further 1 hour hop to Chania.

*We recommend local company Autoclub (http://www.autoclub-rentals.gr/) .for car hire - they will meet you at the airport, speak excellent English, and have a well-maintained new fleet of cars at very reasonable prices.

The villa is easily reached by car from the airport in about 45 minutes, without having to navigate any serious traffic hot-spots or busy city streets.

Coach excursions are available to farther-afield tourist sites such as the famous Palace of Knossos, or snorkeling on a quiet beach.

Quiet and ideal for families or couples, the area has plentiful sandy beaches with watersports, excellent history, archaeology and magnificent walking opportunities. There is horseriding and clay pigeon shooting nearby, a fantastic water park less than an hour away, and numerous bars, tavernas and restaurants, some of which are within easy walking distance.
