MAS BEATA, in the past, used to be a wine grower’s house, and now fully restored and converted with an enclosed swimming pool, has a peaceful and planted walled courtyard of 3000 sq.metres with intimate areas for either dining, reading, writing or just being lazy! Through the shady and colourful ‘summer room’ is located the well protected pool with all the necessary for sunbathing and relaxing. Parking is available.

The recently redecorated ‘Maison de Maitre’ (where the wine grower actually lived) has 3 charming and comfortable self catering apartments (Gites), OR alternatively can be rented as one house for a large family/friends.
The owners live on site in their own home which is attached to the ‘Maison de Maitre’, and are on hand to welcome and advise you on the many tourist attractions and activities, as well as assure the tranquillity of your holiday.

Very locally……….you must visit LE CAILAR, (10 mins) a typical Camargue village with strong taurine traditions. VERGEZE (15 mins) source of the famousPERRIER.
‘LE CENTRE DE DECOUVERTE DU SCAMANDRE’ ( 5 mins) is a wonderful natural reserve with walking tracks through the local paysage. |

If you are feeling sportive, we have a few BICYCLES at your disposal, or maybe you prefer to bring your own.
Discover the Camargue also on HORSEBACK as proposed by the many local equestrian centres.
Another original way to visit the Petite Camargue is by ‘CALECHE’ ( open horse-drawn carriage). BIRDWATCHING is a definite MUST! CANOEING/KAYAK on the Petit Rhone is very popular (15 mins) GOLF…..La Grande Motte and Nimes within 30 mins. The kilometres of magnificent sandy BEACHES of the MEDITERRANEAN ………wind surfing, sailing, kite surfing, etc.

25 mins/30 mins.… The ports of …… LE-GRAU-DU-ROI ,very active fishing port with colourful restaurants along the canal leading towards the sea. LA GRANDE MOTTE, well known for it’s 196O’s style of architecture, fabulous long sandy beaches, very big pleasure port, restaurants/bars and boutiques. PORT CAMARGUE one of the largest pleasure sailing ports in Europe, with the FAMOUS fine sandy beach, ‘l’ Espiguette’.
