This large traditional farmhouse with panoramic views of the quaint village of Crouttes is an ideal base for a family holiday and spacious enough to allow two families to share without feeling cramped or over-crowded. Just five minutes from the town of Vimoutiers, you can drive down the hill, buy fresh croissants and be back at the table for breakfast in less than fifteen minutes.
Built in the 1850's it retains many of the original features. Apple orchards and dairy farms surround the house. 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room 8 guests

A small baby room opening off one of the bunk bedrooms with a full-sized baby cot. All bedrooms have pillows and duvets. All rooms have wonderful countryside views. Bathrooms Downstairs there is a sink and a large shower room with a separate WC. Upstairs there is an elegant clawfoot bath, a sink, and a WC room that opens into the Master bedroom and the hallway. Kitchen Dishwasher. Microwave. Large fridge/freezer. Electric stove/oven. Electric kettle. Coffee machine As well as dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans. Dining Room The dining room is a light and spacious room with a long table that seats ten. Sitting Room A large and comfortable room with a CD player. Lovely, open fireplace on warm terracotta tiles with original 1850's cooking hook and decorated with interesting, old metal work. TV that functions as a DVD player. Our changeover day is Saturday (check in after 4.00 pm, and check out by 10.00 am). We have an English caretaker who will answer any questions and help you settle in. A linen service is available.

Linen hire is available, fees are payable in addition to the rental fee, the following rates apply
Bedding £15.00 per double bed £7.00 per single bed
Towels £5.00 per person
One third of booking fee, plus £100.00 refundable security fee against breakages etc, is payable at time of booking, remainder of fee is payable no later than six week prior to the commencement of your stay.

This area offers a wealth of attractions. Locally it is possible to horseride, canoe, visit cheese and calvados factories. There are many World War Two sights, museums, a fantastic zoo, our neighbours at the Priory St Michel, plus the famous Cathedral in Liseux. Additionally the many attractive villages, fabulous reastuarants, local markets and chateux and gardens. Further afield there are the Normandy Landing Beaches and museums recording those events. The castle of William the Conquerer, Bayeux with its famous tapestry. Coastal ports and towns, such as Deauville and Honfleur; all of which offer more opportunities to sample the regional cusiine and various tourist attractions, including an impressive Butterfly Park.
