The owner will be there to greet you on arrival and answer any queries you may have. All bed linen, towels & toiletries included plus a complimentary bottle of wine, fresh flowers and wood for the fire.

Grade II listed mid-terrace cottage in excellent condition and newly decorated and furnished. All rooms have original exposed oak beams and radiators. Lounge has a lovely wood burning stove.

The cottage being on 3 floors does have quite a steep, but short, staircase. (as seen on photo) A handrail is provided.

A very small south facing courtyard with plants & just room for a garden table & 2 chairs!

Ground floor –
Lounge (3.6m x 3.5m) with wood-burning stove, new large leather sofa and a comfy bean bag chairs. TV/DVD player. (Selection board games & DVDs)
New fully fitted kitchen/diner (3.5 x 2.4m) including new fridge, freezer, microwave & washer/dryer. 4 pine chairs & table. Radio & CD player

First floor –
Bathroom with shower over bath.
Bedroom (3.7m x 3.1m) with double bed, chest of drawers, open shelves & built-in wardrobes, digital radio.

Top floor -
Family sized bedroom (5.8 x 3.7m) in the eaves of the cottage with new double bed and double futon- for seating or extra double bed. Storage wicker baskets, chest of drawers & hanging hooks.

Off-street parking is available a few yards away (free after 5.30pm) and a large 24hr car park (£3 max per day) is a few minutes walk away.

There is no broadband facility in the cottage but the wonderful Clinches cafe - just around the corner has wi-fi with free internet access.

The only extras per week are:

£25 for 5th person/child for use of futon, linen & towels

£10 per wk for travel cot & bedding

3/4 night breaks offered if less than 4 weeks before arrival date. (This does not apply in high season)

Discount of 10% for bookings of more than 3 consecutive weeks and 20% for 2-6 month furnished accommodation lets.

About the area

Location: Chichester
Transport: 24 North walls is approached by car via Northgate roundabout into Orchard Street, first left then under a bridge, turning left again into North walls. There is a car parking lay by a few yards down on the right which is free after 5.30pm and before 9am. You are fine for unloading here for 10 mins. The long term car park at Northgate (off the roundabout) is only a few mins walk away. By car turn left out of North walls and the entrance to the car park is clearly visible as you go round the roundabout with the fire station on your right. By foot, turn right out of the cottage, cross North Street, turn left and under the underpass. You will see the car park ahead of you.

Facilities: Situated within the historic City Walls, North Walls is a quiet one-way street just a minute's walk from shops, restaurants, pubs and banks. It is ideally located for the Theatre, Priory Park and Oaklands Park with easy and close access to Chichester Harbour, West Wittering beach, Goodwood, South Downs and main line rail to London, Portsmouth & Brighton.

A small bakery (Orchard Tea rooms) is just round the corner, also selling milk & small selection of other provisions.
