Located just off the High Street in Saxmundham this cosy Victorian cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Coast and Heaths an area accredited as an (AONB) Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The High Street is 2 minutes walk away where you will find all you need during your stay, pubs, restaurants, takeaways etc and a Waitrose supermarket. The railway station is 1 minute walk away so you can explore East Anglia by train.

The cottage sleeps 4/5 has a main double bedroom a smaller double bedroom and a sofa bed to sleep an one more person if required. There is a fully equipped kitchen and diner, modern bathroom, and sitting room with TV.
The garden is south facing and is sun trap during the summer garden chairs are available.
Visit Aldeburgh, Southwold, Snape Maltings, Woodbridge, Framlingham castle, Minsmere RSPB etc and enjoy the many walks on the coast and across the stunning countryside.

One small to medium size dog welcome the cottage is not suitable for larger dogs.

The cottage will need to be vacated by 11am, newcomers will be able to arrive at 3pm.

Parking is available near to the cottage.

Transport: Saxmundham railway station is a 1 minute walk from the cottage it is the Liverpool St / Lowestoft line linking to Norwich and throughout East Anglia. Snape Malting international concert hall which hosts a varied programme including proms is ten minutes drive away.

The are excellent golf courses nearby at Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. Bicycle hire at Darsham nearby. Boating lakes at Thorpeness.

For walkers there are many footpaths with stunning views and varied countryside from heathlands, tidal marshlands with reed beds, coastal walks and woodlands with huge forests at Tunstall, Dunwich and Rendlesham with many country pubs along the way for refreshment and food much of which is locally sourced.

Local attractions include nearby towns and villages. Snape with its international concert hall and shopping centre, Aldeburgh with its colourful buildings, Southwold voted Britains favorite seaside resort, Framlingham a delightful village with an impressive castle, Woodbridge on the river Deben, Orford which also has a castle, Thorpeness with a boating lake and an excellent golf course. If you are a birdwatcher the RSPB has its flagship reserve at Minsmere which is only a short drive away.
