| About the Area: |
The World Heritage Sites of Ironbridge, Blists Hill Museum the working Victorian town and the 10 other museums in this group are just a mile from our doorstep. Though renown as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the main industrial elements have long-gone and the River Severn now flows through a beautiful wooded valley in the heart of rural Shropshire. The gorge is particularly scenic.
Nearby are the famous Severn Valley Railway, Cosford Air Museum the largest in the country and many historic buildings and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
