| About the Area: |
Halfway up Clee Hill on Angel Bank, Bitterley you will find yourself in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the heart of South Shropshire. There are numerous walks with outstanding views across several counties in addition to the "Heavenly views..." available from all of our bedrooms and living areas.
We are just a 10 minute stroll to the local pub that serves excellent food and, if you want a break from driving, benefit from a regular bus service to Ludlow that picks up and drops off at the bottom of our drive. Angel House is situated adjacent to a public footpath and just a 5 minute walk from the renowned Shropshire Way, so we are an ideal base for walking and cycling holidays.
The ancient town of Ludlow is only 4 miles away, famous for its listed buildings, gastronomy, castle and shopping. Ludlow’s festivals include a summer arts festival, a food festival and a medieval Christmas festival, providing entertainment for every taste. The area's turbulent past has left wonderful historic sites, various castles, country houses and, of course, the beautiful Marches countryside.
There is ample off-road parking and a secure garage for bicycles and Maddi, the resident cat, welcomes friendly and well-behaved dogs. We are delighted to share this wonderful location with others.
