For those who enjoy walking or cycling, there are miles of coastline to explore. Historic Dover Castle is only a couple of miles stroll across the cliff tops.
Discretely situated on a very quiet side road, right in the very heart of the village within just a few yards of all village amenities.

The Newsagent/Village Store, Post Office, Tea rooms & Three pubs
(The Smugglers, Red Lion & Hope Inn) that all offer great food & fine ales are all within a one minute walk of the cottage. Another pub that offers even further choice is a short walk away at the beach (The Coastguard).

Well Cottage is over 100 years old and has been fully refurbished and fitted out to an exceptionally high standard.

It is a charming Two Bedroom Cottage that will equally suit two couples staying together as well the small family wishing to 'get away from it all.'

The Cottage is equipped with everything that you can possibly need to make it "Home from Home" except of course for your personal items.

Full Central heating, with the added benefit of an Open Log Fire plus off road parking for two cars.

Reservations normally take place Saturday to Saturday. Short break facilities and extra days are available on request, subject to availability

In order to maintain the high standard of cleanliness of the cottage, guests are asked not to arrive before 4pm on the day of arrival and to leave by 10.am on the day of departure
A deposit of 30% of the total cost is payable at the time of booking. The balance of the full amount to be paid 14 days before arrival. Telephone & email bookings will reserve the accommodation for 5 days pending receipt of deposit. Upon receipt of your deposit we will confirm your booking in writing by post or email as preferred. In the event of a booking not being accepted, the deposit will be refunded, in full and without delay
The number of people occupying the accommodation may not exceed the number notified and agreed with the owners
No Pets
No Smoking in the Cottage at all
Guests are responsible for all the contents of the property hired and all breakages and damage must be reported and paid for on departure. - We maintain Well Cottage to a high standard of cleanliness. The Hirer must therefore undertake to keep all furniture, fittings and effects in the same good condition as they were found
The owners do not accept any responsibility for any personal injury sustained to any visitor or for the loss or damage to any property brought onto the premises, however caused
Cancellations must be advised immediately. In the event of a successful re-let any payment already made will be refunded in full, otherwise all monies will be forfeited
Following your booking, in the unlikely event of the cottage becoming unavailable due to circumstances outside our control, a complete refund will be made

Why not kick back and relax in one of our local pubs or restaurants, there are three within a couple of minutes walk from the cottage and
The Coastguard a little further, down on the beach. Or even treat yourself to a session in one of the Spa's.

'Wallets Court', for the highest quality food for many miles, is also only a 15 minute walk and yet another fantastic Restaurant, The Bay Restaurant, that offers exceptional food and drink is situated in the centre of the village.

Golf.
Golf courses don't come much more famous than the Royal St. George's at Sandwich.

Home to The Open on several occasions, it is expected to host it again in 2011. Just 10 miles along the coast, Well Cottage is ideally located for this event,

Walking & Cycling.
This part of the South East Coast has long been a favourite of ramblers and cyclists alike, with the coastal path from Deal to Dover running through St Margarets Bay.

There are also miles of beach to be explored too!

Be sure to leave yourself a day free to nip over to France.
Being so close to the port you could be shopping in a Calais or Boulogne Market in less time than it can take to drive to London.

If outdoor activites don't feature in your plans, there is a wonderful opportunity to do some relaxing of the retail kind in Canterbury. Just 20 minutes drive from Well Cottage, Canterbury can offer you more to do than you think.

With its wonderful Cathederal and some of the oldest buidlings in the country, Canterbury has long been a favourite with our visitors.

Of course once you've had enough sightseeing you can always finish the day in the contrastingly modern shopping area. You'll find everything you need with a full range of all leading high street stores.
