The Chapel, originally a medieval hall house, was converted in 2009 into a luxury 3 bedroom, self catering property. It sleeps 6 with the option of sleeping a further 4 people (10 in all plus a travel cot).
It has a very large lounge with a full size pool table, Wii and large flat screen television. The kitchen/dining room is perfect for both families and entertaining.
The master bedroom has a king size 4 poster bed. All bedrooms have their own ensuite facilities, as well as a TV and DVD player. The super king beds in the two further bedrooms are capable of being split into two single beds. The Chapel has its own private garden with a barbeque area, and there is a shared hard surfaced play area for ball games.
There is private off road parking in a secluded courtyard.

BEDS - The master bedroom has a king size (5 ft) 4 poster bed.
The other two bedrooms both have 6 ft zip link beds which can either remain as doubles, or can be divided into 2, 3 foot beds.
There is an additional 4' double portable bed and two 3' single beds available. A travel cot and high chair are also available on request.
The Chapel is in the center of the Isle of Thanet which is renown for it lovely sandy beaches and beautiful villages.
There are many and varied local activities ranging from golf, driving range (golf), horse riding, cycling, swimming, walking, water skiing, sailing, fishing, surfing, bird watching, helicopter rides/flying lessons.
There are also many local museums and visitor attractions locally.
The historic City of Canterbury is only a 30 minute drive away.
Easy access to France via the ferries at Dover (30 minutes), or the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone (45 minutes).
London is approximately 1 1/2 hours by car. The M25 is 1 hours away, giving easy access to the rest of the country.
Flights to Edinbrough and Jersey are now flying every day from Manston Airport, a short distance away.

Holiday accomodation normally begins and ends on a Saturday, except at Christmas and New Year, or by arrangement.


Arrival time for guests is 3.30pm onwards, and departure time is no later than 11am. It is possible to vary these times by prior arrangement, if no other guests are arriving or leaving on the same day.

DIRECTIONS FROM LONDON OR THE M25.
Take the A2/M2 towards Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. The A2 after several miles joins on to the A299 and will take you the rest of the way.After joining the A299, approximately 10 to 15 minutes later you will come across three roundabouts. At the first roundabout take the 3rd exit (right), at the second roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight across), and at the third roundabout (the Minster roundabout), take the 1st exit (left) on to the B2048 heading towards Manston and Acol.You will then come across two final roundabouts.


At both the first roundabout and second roundabout turn right. You should be on the B2190 heading towards Manston.After about 1 mile you will come to a staggered junction. Opposite, you will be able to see the Spitfire and Hurricane Museum. At this junction turn right on to the B2050 Manston Road, heading towards Manston.


After about 1/2 mile on your left, you will come to Manston Court Road. Take this turning. Immediately on your right there will be a field. Next to that you will pass a second field with trees at the front, which normally has horses in it. Next to that are converted barn buildings (The Courtyard), and just beyond that is the garage block to our property. Drive through the middle and we live opposite. (Big green door).

BUSES AND TRAINS.
The nearest train station is Ramsgate (3 miles approximately), although Margate and Broadstairs train stations are only just a little further (4 miles). There is a bus route about 1/2 mile away outside St Catherine's Church in the village, and a local bus taking you to Westwood Cross shopping center and then into the local villages has just started in Manston Court Road. It only travels once each way at 10am and 2pm each day from Monday to Friday. It can be stopped anywhere in Manston Court Road.

A multi screen Vue cinema is within 2 miles of The Chapel.
There are a variety of many and varied restaurants within a 5 miles radius in the towns of Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs, many of which have an active night life.

Horesriding, bowling, golf driving range and golf courses, flying (fixed wing and helicopter), fishing, surfing, cycling, walking, bird watching, and sailing are all within a 5 mile radius of The Chapel.

A variety of castles, museums, zoos, and the historic City of Canterbury are all within easy reach.
During the summer months there are also a variety of free airshows within 5 miles of The Chapel.
