The cottage is recently constructed, completed in 2006 and offers all modern facilities. It is cosy being only 400 square feet and is perfect for business traveler or holiday let.

The ground floor has underfloor heating with limestone effect finish and loose rugs. The temperature is constant throughout offering a very cosy and comfortable atmosphere. High security door locks on the front and back door offer peace of mind.
Wheelchair access via the back door with a single bed being available for the ground floor if you cannot use the stairs.
The open plan ground floor includes a fully equipped modern kitchen and dining space, comfortable sitting area with vaulted ceiling. Access to ground floor bathroom incorporating full size bath with shower and hair dryer.

The stairs leading to the galleried bedroom has a glass balustrade. Carpeted floor with floorlights which pick out the glass balustrade. A king size luxury bed is there to welcome you. Should you prefer two single beds then we will prepare this alternative prior to your visit. This floor is also heated which can be adjusted separately.
Wireless broadband connection is permanently available for your laptop. Flat screen plazma TV with High Definition screen. DVD player with selection of DVD’s available. CD player and radio. There is a TV and DVD player in the bedroom. Multiple electric sockets. Books, games and puzzles ensure that you will not get bored.
In the kitchen is an integrated washer dryer, an integrated fridge with freezer box, ceramic hob, electric oven and microwave oven. Kettle, toaster, iron ironing board, cooking utensils, in fact everything you need to look after yourselves.
Our service whilst you are staying with us includes. Daily maid service. When you are out on business, visiting, shopping whatever the reason; we come in clean and refresh the facilities.
Office facilities from the main house are available, printing of documents, faxing, photocopying, just ask. When you book you should indicate to us a time of arrival. We will ensure that in the fridge are bottles of still and sparkling water, a pint of fresh milk, butter. A small loaf of fresh bread, jam, and some fruit. Tea, sugar, coffee instant and fresh. Enough cutlery and crockery for two people.

By air.
Stansted airport is a 12 minute drive along the A120 we can arrange to collect or take you for £15 (normal taxi fare £20)
Gatwick is 1 ½ hours by road we can arrange to collect or take you for £70 (normal taxi fare £82)
Heathrow is 1 ½ hours by road we can arrange to collect or take you for £75 (normal taxi fare £84)
London City airport is 1 hour by road we can arrange to collect or take you for £50 (normal taxi fare £60)
Luton is 1 ½ hours by road we can arrange to collect or take you for £60 (normal taxi fare £70)
If you need to be taken or collected after 11 in the evening or at weekends the rate is slightly higher.
Rail, Liverpool Street station in London take the train direct to Braintree a journey of 55 minutes. On arrival in Braintree we will pick you up or it’s a 10 minute walk.

While you are in Braintree you may want to:- See Freeport village the shopping area where there is also the 12 screen cinema, bowling alley and restaurants. Towerlands is at the end of our street where the horse shows are held. The new racecourse is now open at Great Leighs, a 10 minute taxi ride away.

By road.
From London, take the M11 motorway, exit at junction 8 signed Stansted, Colchester A120. Stay on A120 for 16 miles after you have passed Dunmow South exit the next exit is Panners roundabout pointing to Braintree, at the bottom of the slip road turn first left at the roundabout, next roundabout take the third exit (to the right) at the traffic lights turn left. At the T junction (mini roundabout) turn right into Panfield Lane, drive past the “Entry for Access Only” sign about 50 yards on the right drive through the black gates into Panfield House
From Chelmsford take the signs to Broomfield Hospital or Accident and Emergency (don’t go to the hospital just take that road) along the A130, after 12 miles you will come to Braintree carry on straight into Braintree crossing straight over all roundabouts. Eventually you will come to the Rayne Road traffic lights and Somerfield car park on your right hand side. The road is now 3 lanes and at these traffic lights go straight across. At the T junction (mini roundabout) turn right into Panfield Lane, drive past the “Entry for Access Only” sign about 50 yards on the right drive through the black gates into Panfield House
From Colchester take the A120 at Marks Tey. Braintree is about 10 miles. When you come to the first roundabout take the 3rd exit to the right, after about a mile turn left (first exit) at the roundabout, down a slope, over a bridge, straight over mini roundabout and immediately is a second roundabout turn right (send exit) into Church Lane, after 50 yeard turn left into Coldnailhurst Avenue, at the top of the road is a white roundabout, turn left into Panfield Lane, go straight at mini roundabout, drive past the “Entry for Access Only” sign aabout 50 yards on the right drive through the black gates into Panfield House
