The house has been skilfully converted into apartments of various sizes. All have been carefully modernised to provide every comfort, whilst retaining the original Victorian features giving them style and character. There are also two 16th century cottages adjoining the house.
All the accommodation is fully equipped for self-catering but we also have an excellent licensed Restaurant open every evening. We have a Games room and solar heated outdoor Swimming pool . Children love our friendly, tame farm animals and pets

Primrose Cottage (Sleeps up to 9)
This very spacious and pretty 16th Century Cottage still has the original kitchen range and flagstone floor. There is a large lounge with a woodburner, kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom & shower

Garden Cottage (Sleeps 2)
A delightfully cosy little studio style cottage, tucked away in a quiet corner. Ideal for two people.

Marigold (sleeps up to 4-6)
Ground floor apartment, very popular as it has a door leading from the lounge straight out into the garden by the swimming pool. It has lovely views over the Marsland Valley. Two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge/diner & bathroom.

Poppy (Sleeps 2-3)
Poppy is on the ground floor. It has a kitchen area within the open plan lounge/dining room. One bedroom with en-suite.

Harebell (sleeps 4-6)
Spacious apartment on the first floor with some sea views. There is an open plan lounge/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom.

Honeysuckle (sleeps 4-6)
Also on the first floor this apartment has a large twin aspect, lounge / dining room with splendid views over the Marsland Valley. Two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

Snowdrop (sleeps 2 to 4)
This first floor apartment with sea and countryside views has recently been completely refurbished. One bedroom, Lounge/dining room, kitchen and Showeroom.

Wild Rose Penthouse (sleeps 4-6)
Being the entire top floor of the house, Wild Rose has the most magnificent panoramic views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Two bedrooms, Large Lounge, kitchen and bathroom

All our properties have a full size cooker, fridge, microwave and flat screen digital television with DVD player.
Linen and towels are provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival. Please bring your own swimming towels.
Cots and highchairs are available at no extra cost.
Central Heating is included in the price of most properties. One or two well behaved pets are welcome, we make a small charge of £15 per pet per week.
All the accommodation is non-smoking.
Changeover day is normally Saturday but outside the main season please enquire.

Driving to Berry Park
Leave the M5 at exit 27 and follow the signs onto the A361 (North Devon Link Road) towards Barnstaple. Beware this road has a 60 mph speed limit and there are speed cameras.
At Barnstaple, take the first exit from the roundabout onto the A39 signposted Bideford and Bude.
As you approach Bideford you will cross the Torridge bridge. At the next roundabout take the second exit, staying on the A39, signposted Bude. After approximately 2½ miles you will come to the Abbotsham Cross roundabout. Take the second exit, still on the A39, again signposted Bude. After 7½ miles you come to the Clovelly Cross roundabout. Take the first exit, still following the sign to Bude.
After approximately 4.3 miles you will pass the "West Country Inn" on your left and just over a mile further brings you to Welcombe Cross. Take the next turning right, signposted Welcombe.
After 1.4 miles, follow the road to the left signposted "Welcombe Mouth". DO NOT take the right fork past the recycling pavilion to "Welcombe" and "Welcombe Church".
After ¾ mile you will pass "The Old Smithy Inn" on your right, the road takes an "S" bend and after another ¼ mile you will see the "Berry Park" sign on our white wall, turn left down the drive.

Old Smith Inn within walking distance

There are many excellent tourist attractions for both children and adults within easy driving distance of Berry Park.
"The Big Sheep", "The Milky Way", "Torrington 1646" and "Brocklands"
all provide popular family days out.

For those who enjoy sports, there is a choice of indoor swimming pools as well as
"golf courses", horse riding, and surfing .

Fishing is a popular pastime available at several places along the coast as well as at the Tamar Lakes and Mike will be happy to give you some tips!

In addition to the diversity of it's landscape, the area also plays host to a wonderful selection of fine gardens. RHS Rosemoor is 45 Minutes drive away and a visit can be combined with a trip to the Dartington Crystal Factory. Other gardens nearby are at Hartland Abbey, Clovelly Court, "Docton Mill", Tapeley Park and Marwood Hill.

The famous fishing village of "Clovelly" is a short drive away and day trips to Lundy and fishing and diving trips on the Jessica Hettie are available from there.

The Eden Project is about an hour and twenty minutes drive away and will not disappoint you.
