The Hayloft is accessed direct from the courtyard. Stairs lead up from a small lobby to a delightful open-plan area whose fully equipped kitchen is designed to enhance the holiday ambience. There is a television, video and compact Hi-fi, and a full-size sofa bed. There are two bedrooms: the larger has a double bed and a TV/video. The smaller contains two single beds and washbasin. Both are attractive, pleasant rooms. The bathroom has a full-size bath and a low shower, owing to the height of the eaves!

The Old Dairy and Hayloft take 2 and 4 people respectively. In addition to the standard accommodation, each also has a double sofa bed. There is a charge by arrangement of £10 per person per night for each additional occupant.
Electricity, hot water, central heating, bed linen and towels are included
Cot, linen and high chairs are available by arrangement. Laundry facilities are available on an honesty system.
We offer a 5% discount for the second consecutive week
Well behaved dogs by arrangement @ £15 pdpw. Under no circumstances should dogs be left alone. You are expected to bring suitable towels for drying your dogs. Broadband internet access available.

From Exeter follow the A30 westwards. Take the next turn-off after Okehampton, signed A386 Tavistock and Hatherleigh. Turn right at the bottom of the slip road, back under the A30, and continue for about a mile, passing a Little Chef and a Shell garage on your left. Soon you will see a small crossroads signed Bowerland and Meldon. Turn left and follow the lane down for ½ mile, and you will find us on the right.

Cornwall: from the majestic grandeur of the high moor, to the softer beauty of its eastern slopes; from the spectacular coast paths and coves of North Devon and Cornwall to the gentler delights of the south Devon coast; Meldon Reservoir, Morwellham Quay, Buckland Abbey, Tamar Otter Sanctuary, Mortonhampstead Pony Centre, Plymouth Aquarium, Rosemoor RHS Gardens, Lanhydrock, the amazing Eden Project - the list is endless.
Closer to home, Meldon Reservoir, just 2 miles away, offers a beautiful and dramatic setting for fishing, picnics, walking and riding. Lydford Gorge, with its splendid waterfalls and walks, is only a short and scenic drive towards the ancient stannary town of Tavistock and its famous pannier market. Cyclists are well catered for, with trails for all levels of fitness - for example, cycle route 27 is accessed at Meldon. There are picturesque golf courses at Okehampton, Tavistock and Launceston.
Okehampton itself, 3½ miles away, is an historic town offering every amenity, and a fascinating Museum of Dartmoor life. The area generally has a wide selection of inns and pubs offering a wide choice of food, from the cheap and cheerful, to the more special occasion.
