The lounge has comfortable sofas and a real log fireplace, the dining room table seats 10 comfortably, and both rooms have patio doors leading onto the terrace balcony. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with dish washer, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and range cooker. The playroom for the children can act as a 5th bedroom if required. There is a downstairs toilet and a utility room with tumble drier.

From Exeter take the A30 towards Okehampton and Bodmin. Go past Okehampton, then just after Bodmin and about one and a quarter hours from Exeter turn left on the A391 to St Austell. 5 miles later you go through a series of round-abouts signposted to St Austell. At the A390 T-junction turn right to St Austell and Truro. At the round-about follow the sign for Mevagissey. Go past Asda, and at the Pizza Hut/Mc Donalds roundabout turn left on the Pentewan road to Mevagissey. Past Pentewan and about 6 miles from St Austell you will descend down into Mevagissey. Just past the large car park on your left the road turns left. Go past the smaller car park, and immediately after the overhanging houses turn left into the service road. Go straight without turning and you will end up in our car park. Look up to your right and you will see the Mevagissey Cottage in white with a glass balcony.

A great trip idea to try during your holidays in Mevagissey is the Ferry from Meva to Fowey, which is regular and very informative. Only taking 35 minutes it is quicker than driving and much more fun. Basking whales have also been known to make an appearance during the trip.

If a Mevagissey holiday should include the Lost Gardens of Heligan, on those cloudier days the Eden Project, the Falmouth National Maritime Museum and the Tate Modern at St. Ives offer splendid under cover diversions.
