There are two barn conversions, one which has been converted into a four bedroom cottage (sleeping up to eight guests), the other into three smaller cottages (sleeping between two - four guests). Larger parties of up to eighteen guests can be accommodated by renting more than one cottage. All cottages are set in a charming courtyard setting, along with the owners Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

The self-catering accommodation has been awarded 4 Stars for quality by Visit Britain and the Bed and Breakfast accommodation has been awarded 5 Stars with the addition of a Silver Award for quality.

Facilities

These two delightful barn conversions have been designed to offer guests every comfort they may need, to have an enjoyable self catering holiday.

You have the choice of four lovely cottages at Highfield Farm with Acorn sleeping eight guests; Ash and Chestnut sleeping four and Walnut providing accommodation for two. Alternatively, larger parties of up to eighteen can be accommodated if more than one cottage is rented, thus allowing friends or families to enjoy a holiday together whilst having a degree of privacy in their own cottage.

There is an onsite laundry room which guests have the shared use of, providing a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Chestnut is equipped to a very high standard and offers:

One double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
One twin bedroom with a bathroom next door.
The cottage is all on one level with polished hard wood floors throughout.
Spacious kitchen diner, fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and cooker. There is also a dark wood table and four chairs.
Large and airy sitting room equipped with television (including Freeview box), video and DVD player. A double door gives way to an enclosed patio area at the back complete with garden table and chairs, and overlooks the farm yard and fields.
Ash is also equipped to a very high standard, providing:

One double bedroom with en-suite shower room equipped to M2 standard.
One twin bedroom.
Second bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
The cottage is all on one level with polished hardwood floors throughout.
Kitchen/diner is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, and microwave.
Sitting room with television (with Freeview), DVD player and double doors giving access to an enclosed patio garden complete with garden furniture that overlooks the farmyard and fields.

Directions South Bound
Take the A1 road towards London, notice A1 / A421 roundabout, stay on A1, the entrance to HIGHFIELD FARM is exactly 2.5 miles, on the left, directly from the A1. DRIVE SLOWLY and watch for YELLOW / BLACK sign.
Directions North Bound
Take the A1 Road towards “The North”, notice A1 / A603 / B1042 roundabout at Sandy, stay on A1, after about 1.5 miles, having passed a filling station, leave A1 to the left for BLUNHAM, then immediately turn right to access a new bridge over A1. Do a “U” turn over A1 and rejoin A1 towards London and Sandy, HIGHFIELD FARM is 300 yards on the left, directly from A1. DRIVE SLOWLY and watch for YELLOW / BLACK sign.
