We bought ‘Siesta Hillside Villa’ purely because of its absolutely stunning views across Paphos to the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and peacefully glorious surroundings. Walking out from the living room onto the veranda with its abundance of flowering plants, shrubs and grape vines, you will just want to sit and marvel at this wonderful view for hours. Not only can these views be admired from the privacy of the garden, but from both bedrooms also. You will wake up in the morning, open the curtains and there it is… breathtaking views. Step out onto the bedroom balcony, sit down and sip a cool glass of orange juice whilst taking in the fresh air and glorious hillside and sea views.
Being set on the hill side of the Award Winning and very carefully planned Kamares Village, if you look downward, there is a patchwork of terracotta roofs and beautifully maintained white-washed walled villas, winding their way down the hillside; a joy to look at.
Walk from the back of the villa, and a few steps up a cobbled path lead you to a magnificent large kidney-shaped pool. The beautiful landscaped surroundings of this very quiet hilltop communal pool allow you to relax under one of its many thatched sunshades. There is also a children’s pool.

Or you could even take an afternoon dip in the Club’s large outdoor pool.
The main traditional village square is a few minutes drive away. Here you will find a quaint square with church, supermarket, pub, a smattering of Cypriot tavernas and a romantic English bistro/restaurant with breathtaking views overlooking Paphos and the surrounding coastline.

Paphos was the capital of the island in Roman times, and dates from 1400 BC. Legend has it that the city is built on the spot where the Greek Goddess of Love, Aphrodite, was born. Today, Paphos has become a popular seaside resort with numerous luxury hotels, tavernas and entertainment venues. Coral Bay, a 10 minute drive away and is renowned to have the best sandy beach in the Paphos area.
