Villa Maruka is a traditional Dalmatian stone house from the 19th century newly renovated into a luxury villa for 6 - 7 persons. It is situated in the peaceful old centre of the village Mirca, perfect for families looking for relaxation and a slowdown in an authentic island location. The nearest beach is only 800 meters far from the villa and the nearby town of Supetar with its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops is within 10 minutes drive.

Villa Maruka has just over 120 m2 of the interior. On the ground floor there is a lounge/dinner with TV and a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate toilet/guest cloakroom and one double bedroom with a big bathroom en suite and a terrace door leading out onto a side terrace. From the lounge a grand staircase leads to the first floor which contains a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and one bathroom. There is one more shower room next to the outdoor eating area. Each room has SAT TV, air conditioning and a safe.
In the forecourt of the villa is a swimming pool with a hydro massage bench and attractive outside dining area with BBQ, covered with the authentic stone roof, which is traditional in old Dalmatian rural architecture. A sundeck is positioned to capture the best views of the sea and Dalmatian coast. Just next to it is a small garden with an old olive tree and underneath, on the street level, is the parking place.

MINIMUM STAY:
• July and August – 7 days, arrival/departure Saturdays
• Other months – 4 days, arrival/departure any day

SECURITY DEPOSIT is 300€ and it is collected at the arrival in cash. The amount is returned at check out, after the inspection of the villa. In case of damages or breakages in the villa caused by the guests, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit.

PAYMENT: 30% advanced payment at the time of booking and the rest one month prior the arrival date via bank transfer.
All additional services payable on site can be paid only in cash to the villa manager.

The price includes use of linen, electricity, hot and cold water, every day cleaning, final cleaning, garden and pool maintenance, daily towel change, linen change two times a week. Guests have on disposal USB modem for mobile internet receiving UMTS signal. The use of the internet is free of additional charges up to 1 GB of data traffic per week.

Additional services that can be arranged: massage at the villa, car/scooter/bike/boat rentals, laundry (washing+ironing), baby sitting.Prices are per week, for the rent of the whole villa, max 8 persons (incl. children). In July and August minimum stay is one week, arrival/departure on Saturdays. Other months we accept all bookings, with arrival/departure any day. Thus for less than 4 days stay (3 nights and less) we charge 30% supplement.
Security deposit is 300€ and it is collected at the arrival. The amount is returned at check out, after the inspection of the villa.
Advanced payment is 30% of the total amount. The rest is due 1 month before the arrivla date.

The village Mirca is 3km west from Supetar, which is the port for ferries connecting the island Brac with the city ofSplit. The ferries go quite often, especially during summer, and the journey takes 50 minutes.
On the island there is also the Brac airport. It is a small international airport for charters and private planes, and once a week there is a regular line connecting the island with Zagreb (please check with the Croatian airlines). The Brac airport is closed during winter. The nearest bigger airport is Split airport, which is connected regularly with most of major cities in Europe.

The nearest retaurant and a bar is 800 meters from the villa, right on the Mirca beach. Night bars can be found in the nearby town of Supetar, as well as the movies and diferent cultural events throughout whole months.

Near the villa there are some excellent walking and biking routs.
The old roads leading towards the next town of Sutivan and Supetar are passing by the sea and through the pine woods, and are now used by locals and tourists for recreation: walking, running, biking.
The old part of Mirca is the starting point of hiking routs Olive grove treks, which go through olive grove fields and Karst scenery. There is also a small Olive oil museum in old local olive oil mill.

Brac island has much to offer in the way of sightseeing. Sites of interest include Vidova Gora, the highest point of all the Adriatic islands (778m), the towns of Milna, Postira, Sutivan and Bol with the famous Bol Golden Cape beach. Also worth visiting is the sandy beach of Lovrecina Bay near Splitska. Excursions to other islands and to the mainland are also all possibilities from Brac. It is also interesting to take the ferry, back to Split for the day to explore Diocletian’s Palace (UNESCO site) which makes up Split old town.
