Valle Gran Rey is a lively fishing village surrounded by the beautiful landscape that draws visitors here from all over the world. Once they discover what this special island has to offer, they tend to return time and time again.

Our apartment is in the small block, La Condesa, and is ideally situated on the sea front and close to all the amenities of the Vueltas area of Valle Gran Rey. We have been letting the apartment for the past 4 years, and in that time many people have returned 2 or 3 times.

The apartment sleeps 2 people( up to 3–4 if using the sofa bed). It consists of an open plan lounge with a sofa bed and satellite TV (Astra 1) and DVD, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king-sized double bed and huge mirrored wardrobe and a shower room, which has a washing machine.

| About the Area: |
The legendary "Valley of the Great King" is probably the most popular holiday destination of La Gomera. Arriving along the winding road into Valle Gran Rey is a wonderful experience as the road sweeps down through the steep, terraced landscape to meet banana plantations, palm trees and the ocean.
There are beaches within a few minutes walk in either direction. You can choose the Harbour beach with it's stunning cliff backdrop, Puntilla or Playa with its sandy and pebble areas. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants at the end.
Immediately opposite the apartment there is a cove which, depending on the tides, you can swim, snorkel or watch the local surfers from the vantage of the balcony.
Vueltas, the port of Valle Gran Rey, lies at the foot of a steep cliff face. Bright fishing boats and sailing yachts bob in the water. Here you will find boats offering tours and excursions out to sea, to see the spectacular rock formation of Los Organos or to go whale watching. Rustic bars, restaurants and colourful shops bring life to this old district. The layout of the place is charmingly chaotic, with its many lanes and stairways.

Many budget airlines fly to Tenerife South, from there you will need to get a taxi or bus, No. 111, to the port of Los Cristianos where you can get a ferry to La Gomera. Ferry company, Fred Olsen, run a service from Los Cristianos to Valle Gran Rey, calling at San Sebastian and Playa Santiago on the way. There are three ferries daily, times as follows, but please check the web site for any possible changes to these timings.
