Villa Golf y Mar is a beautifully furnished and well equipped villa ideally located close to the centre of Caleta de Fuste and everything this thriving resort has to offer.
Outside the villa there is are terrace and garden areas and the villa is just 50 yards from the communal pool with plenty of sunbeds and a separate children's pool. The pool is solely for the use of guests and residents of the La Colina development of which Villa Golf y Mar is part.

The villa has a spacious lounge with 2 sofas, flatscreen TV with English channels, a DVD player and Playstation 2 console with a selection of games. Patio doors lead to a terrace area with dining table and chairs and a landscaped garden.
The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with oven/hob/extractor, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and all the usual appliances, cutlery and crockery.
There is a separate dining room with table and 6 chairs.
On the ground floor there is a twin bedded room. Stairs lead to the upper level where there is a further twin bedded room and a double bedded room, king size bed. All 3 bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and ceiling fans.
There is a shower room with WC on the ground floor and a further bathroom with bath/shower, WC and basin on the upper level.

The villa is located about a 15 minute drive from the airport. Car hire is not necessary as there is a complimentary bus service from the nearby Elba Sara Hotel to the Atlantico Commercial Centre (about 1 km from the villa)which is within easy walking distance of the centre of the town. Taxis are readily available. |

The nearby Elba Sara Hotel has spa facilities, a gymnasium, restaurants and bars which guests may use (fee payable locally). The prestigious Fuerteventura golf course (18 hole) is accessed via the hotel too and there is also another 18 hole course course in Caleta de Fuste. Both are well maintained and popular with residents and visitors so if you like a round of golf then be sure to pack your clubs!
The Atlantico Centre has a large supermarket, plenty of opportunities for some retail therapy, a cinema and bowling alley. The centre leads down to a large area where there is often outdoor entertainment and play areas to keep the kids amused. This area then leads down to some lagoon style beaches and a walkway into the main town centre. |

Caleta de Fuste is a thriving resort with something for everything. The main beach area is horsehoe shaped and slopes gently so it is very safe for bathing. A stroll to the harbour area will take you to where the watersports are located, there are a number of activities available from deepsea fishing, jet skis, scuba diving to snorkelling. There is also a submarine which will take you on a trip around the harbour followed by a seal show.
Caleta has bars and restaurants to suit every taste and budget, you will find typical Canarian fare, Chinese, Mexican, Portguese and somewhere for a fry up if you are missing your bacon and eggs. It is a very cosmopolitan town with a population from all over the globe.
Fuerteventura enjoys year round sunshine and some of the best beaches outside of the Caribbean. The north and the south of the island are home to spectacular sand dune areas where is it possible to sunbathe au natural in on some beaches. The interior of the island is mountainous and provides a spectacular contrast to the sandy beaches. If you hire a car then there are lots of little villages that are worth exploring, especially Betancuria, which used to be the capital of the island.
At the far north of the island is the town of Corralejo where you can catch a ferry to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote for a change of scenery for the day. The trip is only 20 minutes, just time for a quick drink on the viewing deck before you dock again. |
