Castillo Mar, Situated in the resort of Caleta de Fuste, a quiet prestigious area on the east coast of Fuerteventura.
Castillo Mar is located only 300 meters from the beach, 10 km fron the international airport of El Matoral, 20 minutes south of Puerto del Rosario, the capital of the island and 800 metres from the golf club. Fuerteventura is renowned for its beautiful beaches and fantastic windsurfing.
Castillo Mar is an attractive complex of duplex style apartments surrounded by landscaped gardens, these apartments offer a small private front garden as well as a balcony from the bedroom and a newly fitted kitchen. There is a large communal swimming pool and children's pool and the resort is close to all the amenities of Caleta de Fuste, including an expansive golden beach, numerous shops, restaurants and bars, a multi screen cinema, 10 pin bowling alley and the prestigious golf course which played host to the final round of the Spanish Open in 2004. Recently refurbished to give an airy and peaceful environment to match its surroundings.
The upstairs bedroom has fitted wardrobes, twin beds, bed side tables, a pedestal fan and sunblock curtains. Leading onto a private sun terrace.
Downstairs there is a comfy double sofa bed.
The upstairs bathroom consists of bath/shower, toilet, wash basin and mirror. The downstairs bathroom includes a toilet and wash basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for a self catering holiday.This includes hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven, pots, pans, cooking utensils, kettle, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery.
In the living room there is a double sofa bed, sideboard, reading lamp and television with DVD player. This leads on to the breakfast bar.
To the rear of the kitchen there is a small patio area with washing machine. Also, in the apartment is an iron and ironing board. Towels and linen are provided.

From the Airport...
If you are driving:
- After leaving the airport take the FV-2 South towards Caleta de Fuste. (Left at main roundabout on the FV-2)
- Past El Matorral
- Past the small town of Costa de Antigua
- At roundabout signposted Caleta de Fuste (about 10 minutes drive from the airport) take 3rd exit (turn Left)
- Carry straight on to C del Castillo
- Take second left on to Av. Jose Franchy Koca
- Castillo Mar will be on your left
If you do get lost remember head towards Caleta de Fuste and when you are there you can ask for the Elba Castillo de Antigue and Suites hotel it’s just across the road.
If you take the bus from the airport you will need to catch the Linea 03 Route it’s every 30 Mins.

You are never short of things to do in Caleta de Fuste with all the usual watersports available as well as boat trips, diving,and even a submarine offering undersea excursions.
The nightlife is pretty varied too with plenty of bars offering all kinds of entertainment from live music to karaoke and a wide variety of restaurants including Chinese, Italian and authentic Spanish.
Because of Caleta’s central location it’s easy to explore the rest of the island if you hire a car.

About 10km south of the airport lies Caleta de Fuste - also known as Castillo, one of the major tourist towns on the island.
Caleta de Fuste has one long main street consisting of low-rise buildings where the main bars and restaurants are concentrated. The resort has also expanded inland so if you fancy sampling some of the nightlife Castilo Mar is minutes away!
There are many quiet tree-lined streets and one of these leads to the the man-made beach - set against a back-drop of hills and a few apartments. The resort now boasts a new golf course that will have a club house restaurants and many more facilities. At the Golf Course roundabout there’s a brand new shopping complex with some fine shops and restaurants, a multi-screen cinema plus a 10 pin bowling alley.
