The double bedroom comes with fitted wardrobes and there is a separate sleeping area for the children in the form of bunk beds. Additional sleeping comes in the form of a sofa bed, which will comfortably sleep two average size adults.

Situated on the first floor (bottom, right set of windows) our apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, newly fitted cooker with hob and dishwasher.
There is a spacious lounge/diner with Cable TV/video and DVD, and a radio and CD player. A collection of videos and DVDs have been left at the apartment for keeping the kids (and adults) entertained in the evenings, and a Playstation games console.

Rental is all year round, providing an excellent base for discovering what this magnificant area has to offer during each and every season - Crisp, white snow in winter, ideal for all winter activities. Beautiful hot Summers days for biking, hiking, water sports or just relaxing. And of course everything in between!
Change over days are Saturday to Saturday - although please contact us if you wish to go either side of this as we are quite flexible!!

The cost of a weeks rental obviously varies throughout the year, depending on the season.
Prices are flexible , and we offer discounts for multiple weeks booked together.
All that is required to reserve a week for you is a deposit (varing in accordance with the overall price).
In addition we ask for a security deposit cheque to the value of £150 - this is not cashed, but retained until your return. Providing there have been no substantial breakages or damages to the property during your stay we will return the cheque or destroy it for you. (we have not had to cash one yet!)
PLEASE NOTE - that on arrival you will need to pay our 'House manager' direct for the hire of bed linen, towels and end of stay cleaning. this way we can keep our prices as low as possible and pass the savings onto you. This is the only additional cost at a flat rate of 50 Euros plus 10 Euros per person (unfortunatley we have no control over this cost so cannot offer further discount on this payment)

The linked resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See are located 100kms southwest of Salzburg, and can be accessed by road, rail, or by catching a plane to Salzburg and completing the journey by hire car or public transport. This is the easiest option, but if you are on a tight budget it is worth considering the far more affordable options of road or rail transportation to the resort.
If you opt for driving from the UK, take a car ferry or the Chunnel train service across the Channel. Once in France, it is a two-day drive from Calais to Zell am See / Kaprun (over 1,200kms) via the cities of Reims, Metz, Stuttgart, Munich and Salzburg.
Alternatively, many visitors choose to fly into Salzburg's international airport and hire a car to access the resort (Click on the above map to get driving direction from Salzburg Airport to our apartment!). The famous Zell am See-Kaprun region provides sports facilities for everyone. Whether in summer or in winter, the area offers ideal premises for almost all sports.
In Zell am See-Kaprun you may go skiing at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier in the morning and swimming at Lake Zeller in the afternoon.

For those of you lucky enough to have visited this area of Austria before, you will know how beautiful Kaprun really is, no matter what the season.
Kaprun and Zell am See resorts make up the 'Europa Sport region', southwest of Salzburg. The region is an ideal destination for beginners and intermediate skiers, as well as having challenging 'off piste' skiing for the more advanced. Skiing is almost guaranteed 365 days of the year on the impressive Kitzsteuinhorn glacier.
The 8th century town of Zell am See is an enticing destination, set on a picturesque lake and surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas. The centre is pedestrianised, preserving an atmosphere of history and serenity. The town is well-designed to receive visitors, with a wide range of off-slope activities and a plethora of inviting shops.

The quickest and simplest route to Zell am See / Kaprun is to fly into Salzburg's international airport, obtain a shuttle transfer to the train station and catch a train to the resort.
Alternatively hire a car from one of the many leading names in car hire and enjoy the outstanding views as you take the short drive to your destination.

Kaprun / Zell am See resort features a lively après-ski scene, with a profusion of coffeehouses, cafés, bars and Shops. Off-slope alternatives to skiing are also plentiful, with the resorts offering tobogganing, sleigh rides, ice-skating, hang-gliding, paragliding, hot air ballooning, indoor tennis and swimming, a sports hall and fitness centre.

In the centre of the village itself, just a few minutes walk from our apartment, is a well equipped sport center 'The Optimum'. What better way to lossen off aching legs, take a break from skiing, entertain the kids or just relax in either the heated indoor or outdoor swimming pools, spa pool, sauna and massage. Other sports such as Squash and Tennis are also available in the indoor courts. If you really haven't had enough exercise though, there is a fully equipped gym!
Skiing is obviously one of the main reasons people return year after year to Kaprun, with virtually guaranteed snow. The nursery/begineers slopes and children's fun ski park are only a minutes walk from the apartment. For the more experienced skier or snow boarder, lifts, pistes, ski schools and free ski bus are all within the immediate area.
Obviously the summer months offer a new range of activities and leisure time experiences. Everything from white-water rafting to Biking and Golf.
