Anniebrook Lodge - is very central to the famous Margaret River Wine area with the nearest winery being within 10 minutes. All the wineries have world class restaurants. The area has many interesting things to do and see. There is bush walking trails, scuba diving, surfing, horse riding etc. Tour operators offer: Australia's Famous Winery and Bushtucker Tour, Whale Watching and Cave Tours to name a few.

Bedroom 1 has an en-suite with toilet.

Kitchen equipment includes all the normal kitchen appliances including a microwave.
Laundry with a washing machine In the laundry there is an ironing board (drawer) and iron supplied.
Living Rooms: The extremely large lounge is the central feature of the cottage with TV, DVD etc.
There is also a reading room.
The towels, and linen are included.

Children are welcome. The property is a working thoroughbred horse stud so definitely no pets are allowed. No smoking is allowed at all in the dry summer months as it is in a very high fire risk area (Mid November to May). No smoking is allowed in the house (note: there was a very bad fire on the property 5 years ago with extensive damage done).
I believe wheelchair users would be able to enter the house. There is a ramp at the front and at the back the parking is quite level to the back entrance. The 3rd bedroom is very large and has an en-suite with a toilet.
Outside.
It is surrounded by very Australian native gardens. The verandah has outdoor furniture for dining and lounging.

Prices per day in Australian dollars. There will be other rates for Easter and Public Holidays.
For long Winter breaks there will also be reduced rates.
On booking confirmation a deposit of 50% will be required of which a non refundable amount of 20% will be retained for cancellation. For late cancellations (less than 1 month) the 50% will not be refundable.

Perth is the closest international airport which is two and a half hour drive away. It is recommended that a hire car would the easiest and best way of transport. The highway to the region is very good and direct.

This delightful (5 year old) farm style cottage is central to many world class wineries (10 minutes), restaurants, golf clubs, beaches. The Geographe Bay is less than 5 minutes away which is excellent for crabbing and fishing. It is situated on a horse stud with wonderful views of most of the fields. Surrounding the fields are very old large blackbutt, peppermint and red gum trees. The house has large veranda and deck areas with a barbecue. I have had the property for 10 years and work the stud myself enjoying the tranquility, natural beauty, birds and the wildlife (kangaroos). Many World Class surfing beaches are also not far away. To me it is a very special place (my little part of paradise). |

The beautiful Geograph Bay is less than 5 minutes away by car (Marybrook Beach). The beach photo provided was taken at that beach.
