Wagait Beach is a popular location for deep sea fishing. There is fantastic fishing from the wharf and beaches or launch your boat from either the Mandorah or Bynoe Harbour boat ramps if you prefer to fish the harbour, inlets and tidal creeks.

For WW2 buffs visit the wreckage of the 'Milady', a crashed US Liberator bomber. Check out the remains of the submarine cable at West Point near Mandorah Wharf. Walk the beaches and look for the remnants of many WW2 gun turrets scattered along the coast.
